Boating
Skills and Seamanship (BS&S) classes are held twice a year, once in the
spring and again in the fall. This class covers such basic topics as boat
terms and how to select a boat, equipment needed for the boat, trailering the
boat, rules of the road and other topics to keep the boater safe on the water.

Advanced
Coastal Navigation (ACN) class is usually held once each year. This is an intense
class covering piloting, using nautical charts, tides and currents, aids to
navigation and electronic navigation, and is intended for the boater contemplating
cruising off-shore or just interested in improving his or her navigation skills.
